About the role:
As a CBRE Data Analytics Manager, you will lead the analysis efforts to ensure that recommendations and business conclusions are backed by thorough data research and findings.
This role is part of the Data Science & Analytics function, responsible for overseeing data review processes that support improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.
This is a remote position. If candidate is local to Atlanta, this will be a hybrid position operating 2-3 days a week onsite.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Data Review:
Perform and supervise ad-hoc, strategic reviews of structured and unstructured data, reflecting global workplace and facility operations, assets, and performance.
Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
Partner with service line leadership to identify and track relevant performance metrics, including KPIs.
- Communicate Data Insights:
Exhibit rigor, judgment, and ability to communicate a detailed 'data story' to service lines.
Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
- Build and Update Dashboards:
Develop and maintain dashboards that provide valuable insights into data for each service line and cross-functionally.
Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and effectively communicate key metrics.
- Coordinate and Oversee Data Aggregation:
Lead the aggregation and curation of reports using existing business intelligence and reporting applications.
Ensure the accuracy and relevance of data collected.
- Develop Data Structures and Pipelines:
Oversee the development of data structures and pipelines to coordinate, collect, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights.
Ensure data integrity and quality.
- Define Data Requirements:
Define and refine data requirements, capturing information using judgment and statistical tests.
Ensure data is collected in a manner that supports robust analysis.
- Utilize Programming and Evaluation Tools:
Use programming and evaluation tools, including open-source programs, to plan models and extract insights.
Apply advanced modeling and optimization methods to improve business performance.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting:
Develop and oversee ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources.
Ensure reports are comprehensive and insightful.
- Ensure Data Quality:
Confirm the quality and integrity of existing data sources.
Implement processes to maintain high data standards.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Impact and Accountability:
Impact the quality of work across the team.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Effective Communication:
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 6-10 years of related experience.
Proficiency in data reporting and analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of real estate data sources like TransAct, SI7, Serraview, and proprietary client data.
Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Experience in predictive modeling and financial analysis.
Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
Ability to organize data into logical communication for client presentations.
Strong team management and development capabilities
Collaborative and innovative approach to teamwork.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Analytics Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Data Analytics Manager position is $110,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
