Western Aircraft Charter Ground Operations Associate in Boise, Idaho
Job Summary
The Charter Fleet Ground Associate reports directly to the Part 135 Director of Maintenance; is responsible for supporting the Aircraft Sales & Charter operations based on the mainland.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and support departure and arrival of aircraft.
Manage storage and location of aircraft.
Manage aircraft National Oceanic and Atmospheric administration (NOAA) ELT registrations.
Wash and detail aircraft exterior and interior.
Update aircraft nav/chart databases.
Review and maintain Aircraft Condition & Maintenance Files (ACMF) and Fault History Data Base (FHDB) records.
Assist in maintaining aircraft historical records.
Coordinate and safely move aircraft as required.
Order parts, lubricants, cleaning supplies, etc., to support Charter & Sales Department aircraft.
Occasionally assist DOM performing aircraft maintenance.
Clean and maintain Aircraft Sales & Charter assigned aircraft hangars.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
Two years’ experience supporting aircraft operations preferred
A&P Certification not required but a plus.
Demonstrated history of detailed task management.
Demonstrated history of managing deliverables.
Mechanically inclined with manual dexterity and comfort utilizing basic tools.
Strong ability to learn and retain detailed information.
Excellent at following detailed and specific instructions.
Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong ability to have and develop applicable computer skills.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to think and prioritize work.
Other Prerequisites
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Valid Driver’s License
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily performed inside, outside, and in an office environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
