Western Aircraft Charter Ground Operations Associate in Boise, Idaho

Job Summary

The Charter Fleet Ground Associate reports directly to the Part 135 Director of Maintenance; is responsible for supporting the Aircraft Sales & Charter operations based on the mainland.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support departure and arrival of aircraft.

  • Manage storage and location of aircraft.

  • Manage aircraft National Oceanic and Atmospheric administration (NOAA) ELT registrations.

  • Wash and detail aircraft exterior and interior.

  • Update aircraft nav/chart databases.

  • Review and maintain Aircraft Condition & Maintenance Files (ACMF) and Fault History Data Base (FHDB) records.

  • Assist in maintaining aircraft historical records.

  • Coordinate and safely move aircraft as required.

  • Order parts, lubricants, cleaning supplies, etc., to support Charter & Sales Department aircraft.

  • Occasionally assist DOM performing aircraft maintenance.

  • Clean and maintain Aircraft Sales & Charter assigned aircraft hangars.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Two years’ experience supporting aircraft operations preferred

  • A&P Certification not required but a plus.

  • Demonstrated history of detailed task management.

  • Demonstrated history of managing deliverables.

  • Mechanically inclined with manual dexterity and comfort utilizing basic tools.

  • Strong ability to learn and retain detailed information.

  • Excellent at following detailed and specific instructions.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong ability to have and develop applicable computer skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to think and prioritize work.

Other Prerequisites

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

  • Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge

  • Valid Driver’s License

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work is primarily performed inside, outside, and in an office environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
