Your Role
The Finance Manual Cheque Payments Team Leader will effectively assist the Manual Cheque Payments' team in managing and overseeing the creation and review of payment transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial processes. The team leader must ensure all payment activities adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain the highest standards of quality.
Your Responsibilities
Manage the Manual ChequePayments' process and supervise Supplier Manual Cheque Payments' staff.
Oversee Payment Processing: Manage the execution of manual cheques,electronic funds transfers, virtual card accounts, and credit card paymentsto ensure timely and accurate transactions.
Supervise Transaction Reviews: Monitor and approve PayCargo and CargoSprint transactions, ensuring payments are processed efficiently.
Manage International Payment Requests: Oversee PayCargo requests forCanada and manual cheque indexing for Mexico, ensuring compliance withregional requirements.
Generate reports and evaluate metrics to drive team performance.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
Background in accounting or finance, particularly in knowledge of shared service centers.
- 3 years of experience as Accounts Payable, Supplier Statement Reconciliation and Accounting.
Advanced English.
Availability to work overtime (holidays in Colombia) and end of the month.
