Responsible for assisting the Base Manager with directing and managing the performance Flight Attendants. This job is a member of the Flight Service Base Operations team within the Flight Service group.
What you'll do
Daily Operation
Daily coverage of flights.
Notify limo pick up schedule.
Update Reserve list and notify f/as of their assignments if necessary.
Keep track of company days.
Notify f/as of schedule changes.
Monitor all inbound and outbound flights for proper coverage.
Monitor flight attendants’ legalities while on a sequence.
Assist APFA f/as when they call in sick at BOG.
Ramp flights on the night shift.
Answer flight attendant’s questions and try to fulfil their needs and interests
Weekend duty coverage
Trip trades with open time.
Modification and building of sequences when needed.
Monthly Operation
Send Reserve list for the following month to HDQ
Send training list for the following month to HDQ
Update of Status List by month
RF 8001 BOG
2J entries (to set inactive f/as for the following month)
Monitor monthly flying to ensure contract concurrence
Sick and headcount report
Allocation report
Bids
Vacation bids and results
Reserve bids and results
Monthly bids: assist flight attendants with their bids
Allocations and bid packs
Control of crew legalities
Control of layovers
Control of viaticos
Send allocations to Union and Line Committee for them to build their suggestion, informing number of lines to be built and particular monthly restrictions.
Monthly bid award
Check bid run: pursers and Portuguese speakers assigned to required positions. Correct award by seniority, active and inactive f/as properly set. NEB and NB lists, f/as set for CQ, proper denials if any. (21st each month)
Assist f/as during Self Conflict Resolution Period (22nd, 23rd and 24th each month)
Conflict resolution: pending conflicts, low on time, over projection, over lapping and legal days off.
Open Replacement Run (25th,26th each month)
Training
Keep track of training for f/as and LOA.
Schedule and planning based on expiration dates.
Publish a list of f/as attending CQ on the following month
Complete rosters & Constant communication with training department and transportation coordination.
Manage Leaves Program / Payroll support
Payroll
Calculation of total hours flown
Incentive hours
FFA hours
Deadheading hours
Galley pay
Language pay
Understaffing pay
Online lessons and holiday pay
Hours and average of the reserve pool
Track of special assignment for payment processing
Send payroll sheets to the accounting department.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience

Prior managerial experience
Prior Flight Attendant experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and projects at the same time
Ability to be innovative and creative to address workforce issues and proactively prevent problems
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse work group and interdepartmental environment
Ability to build consensus with various groups
