The Kinetic Group is seeking a Financial Strategy & Reporting Analyst to support our leadership team by managing key financial reports, project tracking, tracking parent company updates, coordinating high-level meetings, and monitoring industry trends. This role is ideal for an entry-to-mid-level finance professional with a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and an expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint.
This position reports to the Director of FP&A and is based out of our Boerne, Texas office.
What you’ll do:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Track and compile updates from the parent company to ensure alignment with financial and operational goals.
Track progress of projects and follow-up on tasks that have not been completed.
Support leadership with data-driven insights on financial performance and market trends.
Industry & Competitive Monitoring
Conduct ongoing research on the ammunition industry, competitors, and key market trends.
Provide leadership with strategic insights and competitive intelligence to inform business decisions.
Summarize and present findings in clear, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations.
Meeting & Leadership Support
Coordinate leadership meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and follow-ups.
Prepare and distribute pre-meeting materials, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed.
Take detailed meeting notes and track action items to drive accountability.
Presentation & Communication
Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate financial data, industry trends, and strategic recommendations.
Translate complex financial and competitive insights into clear, engaging visuals for executive review.
Experience you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role.
Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint—strong ability to design, structure, and present complex information visually.
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to track and interpret industry trends.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Project management skills and experience with Jira is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with executive leadership.
You might have:
- Experience in the firearms or ammunition industry is a plus but not required.
Pay Range:
$75,800.00 - $106,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
