Position Summary:
The Test Preparation Department is seeking Test Prep Instructors to teach the Math and/or Verbal sections of the GRE, GMAT, SAT, and GK courses at FAU's Boca Raton campus (In-person and Live Online courses available).
The Test Prep Instructor position requires the capability and talent to present quantitative and qualitative skills, methods, and strategies required for the successful completion of the tests, with engaging, scaffolded lessons, grounded upon a comprehensive knowledge of the content of standardized admissions exams, that effectively support student score improvement. Instructors are expected to teach and help develop syllabi that include reading and homework assignments, plan for in-class drills and formative assessments, and conduct detailed homework and post-test reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's degree in a related educational field, or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience along with a 90th percentile score on a standardized test offered by FAU Test Prep, is required. At least two (2) years of test preparation instruction is strongly preferred.

Transcripts:
The selected candidate for this position is required to submit an official transcript sent directly from the institution for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment. Similarly, for degrees from outside the United States, the evaluation by an organization belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES), with an indication of the documents the evaluation was prepared from (official transcripts, diplomas, dissertation abstracts) is required for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment. Transcripts must be issued to Florida Atlantic University, not to the individual applicant.
Background Screening:
Selected candidates must successfully complete and pass all employment screenings prior to the start of employment. Employment screenings may include a criminal background check (level I and level II), motor vehicle check, credit check, reference checks, alcohol, and drug screening check.
