Line Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for setting up machines, performing machining tasks, reading blueprints, using power tools, and troubleshooting equipment issues. This role is essential to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications.

  • Perform machining tasks to fabricate or repair parts.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand equipment and system layouts.

  • Use power tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

  • Proficiency in machine setup, machining, and blueprint reading.

  • Skilled in using power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
