Customer Service Representative 1

Rowman & Littlefield is looking to hire an organized, dynamic, and goal-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. Successful candidates demonstrate a positive attitude and polite demeanor, maintain resilience and composure during difficult conversations, and promote customer advocacy to deliver the most efficient and best experience to our customers. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Process phone and email orders
- Answer product status and availability inquiries
- Manage incoming emails in a specific email box
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving procedures and customer requirements.
- Identify customer service questions and issues that need to be escalated to the supervisor.
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the department and company goals.
Requirements
· High School Diploma required.
· Experience in a call center with high call volume is preferred.
· Basic computer skills are required. Proficient in all major internet browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc.), and general computer competencies.
· Familiarity and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
· Keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task
· Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, but also be a team player when required.
