Robert Half Technology Asset Management Coordinator I (Contract Talent) in Blue Ash, Ohio
Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Technology Asset Management Coordinator I in Blue Ash, Ohio. This role is part of our IT Global Client Services department in the service industry. The coordinator will be responsible for managing technology assets, provisioning technology equipment, and performing administrative duties within the IT inventory management functions. This includes tracking equipment through procurement, deployment, return, and disposal, and maintaining records and databases containing information for technology equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer the management of technology assets and provision technology equipment to minimize organizational cost through asset tracking.
• Handle the administrative duties within the IT inventory management functions.
• Oversee the lifecycle of equipment from procurement, deployment, return, and disposal.
• Maintain up-to-date records and databases containing information for technology equipment like laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc.
• Process purchase orders for inventory stock replenishment and manage inventory levels for desktop and laptop deployments.
• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of technology equipment to corporate and field offices, and manage disposal of e-waste.
• Participate in projects as needed and abide by guidelines and policies.
• Process daily receiving of technology equipment and coordinate the return of equipment from field and corporate locations.
• Ensure the integrity of the asset tracking database by scanning manufacturer's barcode and maintaining records for all transactions processed by IT Asset Management Service.
• Document all relevant information in tickets and respond to customer emails.
• Process orders of IT equipment received for delivery to its respective owners/groups.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels and other required reports.
Requirements • Proficiency in managing Computer Hardware
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies
• Experience with Mac Computers
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
