CommuniCare Health Services Corporate Senior Financial Analyst in Blue Ash, Ohio

The CommuniCare Family of Companies currently owns/operates more than 90 healthcare facilities in 7 states.

A family-owned company, we have grown to become one of the nation’s largest providers of post-acute care. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our corporate goals by gathering, organizing, and reporting relevant data. The position of Senior Financial Analyst can work remotely and ideally candidates will be in proximity of our Cincinnati office.

Purpose/belief statement:

Financial Analysis support is an important function within the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst manages internal and external reporting and analysis for CommuniCare Advantage.

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Ability to develop and create reports based on functional area needs

  • Responsible for ensuring timely monthly reporting package completion and distribution.

  • Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute to management.

  • Performs ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, ability to create new visuals based on requestor inputs

  • Assists Accountant Role by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data

  • Assists leadership with collecting support and tracking during various audits

  • Fast paced environment, ability to prioritize and shift focus when competing priorities emerge – ability to adapt and work on multiple projects at the same time.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to create clear and concise reporting – operational knowledge of data to ensure validity

  • Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

  • Excellent Excel skills are required

  • Database experience a plus – architect or user.

  • Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.

  • A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.

  • Experience in Long Term Care or Healthcare is a plus but not required.
