Description
Robert Half is looking for a director of accounting for a growing Cincinnati based company. The director of accounting is responsible for reviewing the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, accounting reconciliations and supporting schedules. Additionally, the director of accounting will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting. For immediate consideration please contact Jarrod Moon at (859)229-3603.
Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is crucial
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Experience with BlackLine is highly desirable
• Must have experience using Concur and CRM systems
• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is expected
• Must have experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential
• Proficiency in Month End Close, Month-end Close Activities, Month-end Financial, and Month-end Journal Entries is required
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (higher degree or CPA certification preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills are a must
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards is required
• Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Should be detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy in work.
