Road Maintenance Personnel responsibilities include road repair and snow plowing on dirt and paved roads, cleaning storm sewers and culverts, mowing and brush clearing, cutting, loading, and moving debris while operating Township vehicles and equipment with the greatest of care; keeping the garage, equipment sheds, equipment, tools and Township property in order and good repair; assist citizens by responding to calls regarding road complaints; communicate with citizens, general public, and relevant vendors; and perform other duties as assigned.  Strenuous physical effort is required and  occasional exposure to inclement working conditions is expected. Experience: Driving standard shift vehicles and knowledge of general outdoor work; skilled in all phases of the maintenance trades, minor construction and repairs and turf management.  Must hold a valid Class C Pa driver's license, pass a drug test and background test. This is a permanent part-time position (32 hours/week) with the potential to become FT for the right candidate.  Hours are M-F, daytime, with occasional OT and call outs (snow plowing, clear downed trees, etc.).
