Robert Half Tax Preparer in Bloomington, Minnesota
Are you a detail-oriented professional with tax preparation experience? Robert Half is looking for a contract Tax Prepare to help our client in Bloomington, MN for this tax season. This position would start in early February and continue through the spring for 4-5 months and can operate of a remote basis after an in-person training period (only considering local candidates). In this role, you would be assisting a tax firm with processing their client's individual tax returns.
Manually fashion completed transaction tax returns with various government agencies
Provide assistance to clients with incoming calls, tax questions, and scheduling appointment needs
Connect with clients to gather necessary information and documents
Resolve and invoice for form preparation fees
Enter verified date into tax software application
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Good written and verbal communication skills
Prior Individual Tax Prep (1040) experience
Proficiency in Excel
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Ability to multitask while keeping close attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
