Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial services and expertise in managing complex account reconciliations. Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage high-volume and complex reconciliation tasks using tools such as BlackLine.

• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented.

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process.

• Support month-end and year-end financial close procedures, meeting tight deadlines.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the efficiency of reconciliation and reporting processes. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry.

• Strong expertise in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Proficiency in using BlackLine for reconciliation and reporting tasks.

• Solid understanding of general ledger processes and journal entry preparation.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Experience with month-end close processes and meeting strict deadlines.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
