Payroll/Benefits/Accounting Administrator Primary duties of this position is to handle the data entry, administration and recordkeeping of Payroll and Human Resources. In addition, this position handles Safety and Work Comp and other duties as assigned. Payroll Administration: Responsible for all aspects of payroll including weekly processing of payroll, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and special projects. Duties and responsibilities include: Process weekly payroll transactions for 50+ employees, including entry of hours, earnings, deductions, and expenses (payroll and taxes currently outsourced to Paylocity). Audit, balance and post all payroll and labor data weekly. Process all required wires, manage electronic time files, and conduct employment verifications. Set up and maintain garnishments, child support, levies, W4 changes, direct deposit and other items as needed. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and required reporting. Assist with the annual budgeting process Provide oversight and manage all tasks and processes related to tax reporting and payments with payroll vendor, escheat and reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts including year-end tax returns, W2, W2C, 940, 941 s to ensure they are filed accurately and timely. Processes new hire paperwork and benefit changes to include additions/terminations/LOA/change reporting. Calculate and process bonus and incentive payments. Ensure Payroll is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations, keep abreast of all new legislative requirements (i.e. minimum wage, etc.). Collaborate with Management, and external vendors to define, test and implement system modifications, new payroll, or HR products and/or enhancements to existing systems needed to meet the changing needs of Chandler. Maintain Payroll Records Prepare report requests, table changes, and security requests. Maintain related information on M1 Timekeeping and Employee Management systems Complete other special projects as assigned. Benefits and HR Administration: Management and administration of Employee benefits, Benefit renewals, Employee additions and terminations, as well as monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and special projects. . Duties and responsibilities include: Changes, enrollment, terminations, renewals, etc., of Employee Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Other insurance programs such as Vision, Life, AD&D, etc. Maintain Personnel and Benefit Administration Records Maintain Payroll Records Manage Employee Additions, Terminations and Changes: On boarding New Employees and Employee Orientation Employee Terminations o COBRA o Unemployment Reporting Assist with Employee Recruitment o Interface with Agencies o Organize Interviews and Meetings Pre-Employment Background Checks and Drug Testing Assist with maintenance, preparation and update of Personnel related materials including: Personnel Policies and Procedures Employee Handbook Job Descriptions Performance Reviews Employment Related Communications and Postings : Coordinate Temporary Help with Outside Labor Contractors Weekly Reporting Communication of requirements, schedules, etc. Safety and Work Comp: Administration and record upkeep for Safety, OSHA and Work Comp. .
