Dalsin Industries Inc Panel Bender - 1st Shift in Bloomington, Minnesota

Skills and/or Experience: Advanced blueprint reading. Advanced sheet metal inspection experience Working knowledge of controls for Cincinnati Press Brakes (Windows based) Ability to calculate required tonnages and bend allowances. Ability to select proper tooling required to form a part (Acute, Gooseneck, Offset, etc.) Ability to work on a variety of material types and thicknesses. Setup experience specific to department or equipment Sheet Metal Layout experience (Tangent Correction, Basic Bend Allowance Etc.) Understanding of Material Properties including Flatness, Surface Grades, Types, Gauge etc. Exhibit and promote safe work practices in all aspects of work. Read, follow and document the job setup instructions. Upload/download programs to the machine. Perform basic program edits. Load and maintain tooling. Perform setups on Press Brake utilizing part drawings and Bend Simulations. Working knowledge of punch and die configurations, tip radius and the effect on part geometry. P4 (Specific skills) o Safely and accurately operate bending system including: o Primary bending unit, rotator, tooling and supplemental accessories including CLA, Option Cut. o Use of PCD destacker, loading software, RIP, o Safe use of manual commands and program edits o Compiling, loading, running programs in load and empty conditions. o Motives for stopping, suspending, resetting, running production. o Understanding basic code commands, edits, and modifications
