Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to perform a wide variety of maintenance, repairs and services for company machinery and equipment's such as Air Handling, refrigeration and HVAC. Work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production, material handling and facilities equipment, to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, safety, and effectiveness.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Repair and maintain company machinery and equipment such as, Air Handling Equipment, Refrigeration Equipment, and HVAC equipment, including compressors, pumps, belts, motors tanks, etc.

  • Repair or replace control devices such as switches, sensors, pushbuttons, etc. as needed.

  • Perform work order repairs, preventive/predicative maintenance, inspections and adjustments.

  • Perform fabrications and/or modifications to new and existing equipment.

  • Responsible for disposing and recycling any chemical byproducts of HVAC system Assist in installing air conditioning, heating and related equipment and components.

  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Less than High School Graduate

  • General Cert-SecondaryEducation(Preferred)

  • Licenses HVAC (Preferred)

  • Ability to work collaboratively.

  • Ability to set up hand tools and other equipment.

  • Knowledge of EPA, NFPA regulations.

  • Understand Safety, Health and environment.

  • Basic math, writing, computer and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
