Insight Global Assistant Building Official in Bloomfield, Connecticut
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Assistant Building Official to sit onsite in Bloomfield, CT. This person would be making inspections on both commercial and residential building construction, additions and repairs to ensure they are compliant to the Connecticut State Building Code. The inspections include plumbing, heating, electrical and other mechanical systems. Additional responsibilities include documenting inspection processes, and reviewing and corresponding with applicants, homeowners and architects. This person must hold required licensing, or be actively enrolled in the licensing program.

Skills and Requirements
High school diploma or GED
3 years of experience in construction and inspection
Holds license, or is currently enrolled in 2024 Building Code Enforcement Official Pre-Licensure Training Program sponsored by CT's Office of Education and Data Management null
