JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION Skilled Machine Operator JOB LOCATION Bloomer, WI STARTING DATE Immediately EMPLOYMENT TERM Direct Hire EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time WORK HOURS (SHIFT) Day Shift (6am-6pm, 2-2-3 schedule), Night Shift (6pm-6am, 2-2-3 schedule) STARTING PAY \$20.00 - \$25.00/hour (plus night shift pay differential of \$2.50/hour) BENEFITS Extremely competitive REQUIRED EDUCATION Associate degree, bachelor\'s degree, or another technical certification could take place of experience less than 3 years REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 3+ years in manufacturing, technical field, or engineering DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures. Participate in the training curriculum as an operator learning aspects of plastic extrusion line operations while completing assigned duties required for certification Change plastic extruding machine, set up according to production line changes following specifications on work orders, and examine products for nonconformance to specifications Responsible for monitoring quality and accuracy of the line and scrap Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment Set up plastic extrusion machines (shut-down, start-up, switchovers, order preparation, and production, of plastic extrusion lines). Responsible for raw materials (resin) by keeping extruder fed with resin mixture Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers Give assistance to co-workers to expedite changeovers ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skilled Machine Operator - Direct Hire Benefits offered on day one! QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years in manufacturing, technical field, or engineering Associate degree, bachelor\'s degree, or another technical certification could take place of experience less than 3 years Ability to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc. Solid technical/mechanical aptitude Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12- hour period. (Our lift limit is 65 lbs.)
