Certified Medical Assistant Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-384855 Certified Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Blaine, WA! Top Skills Should You Possess: At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus What You'll Be Doing: Checking in patients Scheduling appointments Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Medical surveillance, to include respirator fit testing, audiometry testing, pulmonary function testing, and vision acuity testing Blood draws Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 5pm, with rotating Friday schedule of 8am - 12pm (will work no more than 40 hours/week) What You Need to Bring to the Table: High school diploma or GED Active Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Registration required Current BLS certification At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus Previous experience with medical surveillance testing preferred Previous experience performing blood draws preferred Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, high energy, self-starter, and independent thinker What's In It For You?
