The Federal Engagement Management organization at Oracle Health is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join the Federal Engagement Management Deployment group as a Manager over a team of Engagement Owners (Project Managers).

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure consistent delivery of client milestones while maintaining and driving client satisfaction. This involves networking across both internal and external organizations, coordinating cross-functionally and multiple lines of business to drive initiatives, ensuring project success, resolve issues, and align stakeholders.

This role will interact with all levels of organization members and will be responsible for providing and ensuring quality work on customer engagements while managing a team of consultants. Within this role, the Manager will be accountable for the operational metrics and overall business results of the team. They will manage a team of individual project managers and will be tasked with driving business opportunities through a portfolio of moderate to complex initiatives.

The Manager will have direct people leadership and management responsibility and will oversee a team of up to 10 associates, including recruiting, developing, and retaining resources across the portfolio. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for driving large-scale initiatives across organizations, managing priorities and conflicts effectively.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Federal Engagement Consulting organization leaders to develop and communicate a plan for executing the organization vision and strategy.

  • Oversee the success of a VA project portfolio and subsequent initiatives.

  • Provide oversight to project teams on project plans, escalations and reporting that meet necessary requirements.

  • Provide effective situational leadership for escalations and operational issues.

  • Identify and drive process improvement and streamlining of consulting services.

  • Collaborate with leadership on the development of tracking tools and measures to support initiatives.

  • Liaise/build relationships with and support collaboration across a wide variety of teams within Oracle Health.

  • Obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position.

  • Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.

People Manager Responsibilities:

  • Direct the work efforts and results of a team of individual project managers, as well as prioritize work efforts according to organization needs.

  • Develop individual project managers through coaching performance, completing performance evaluations, goal setting, and development planning.

  • Promote diversity within the organization and create a respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

Education & Experience:

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:

  • At least 3 years of Healthcare Professional Services Operations experience or in in a Healthcare managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of project methodology.

  • A financial acumen, being able to understand and present financial performance.

  • Ability to lead, engage, mobilize, and motivate teams to accomplish goals.

  • Healthcare industry knowledge required.

  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with sound decision making skills.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Strong presentation skills required.

  • Must embrace change and be able to lead resources as a positive change agent.

  • Ability to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or IT field.

  • Current PMP certification.

  • Previous Federal Contracting experience.

  • At least 8 years of Health care information technology (HCIT) or federal government project/program management work experience.

  • Experience with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and/or Department of Defense.

Expectations :

  • Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%.

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
