What you’ll do:

The Technical Architect plays a crucial role in the conceptualisation, design and development of technical architecture of information technology solutions. This position demands a deep understanding of multiple areas of IT such as technology, technical architecture, solution design, technical analysis, Azure cloud platform, network architecture, governance, security principles and HLD/LLD documentation.

This role will need to connect with both technical and business partners, propose and finalise solutions, collaborate and reuse components, work with project teams to deliver the end-to-end IT solution as per requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and development of end-to-end technical solutions, considering business requirements, scalability, performance, and security considerations.

  • Provide technical leadership and design guidance to delivery teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices, and meeting security and quality standards.

  • Be at the forefront of technical architecture development, creating essential diagrams and documentation. Clearly articulate how various approved cloud technologies and network communication components can be used or not.

  • Work with other architects to build the target state architecture and develop technical roadmaps

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define technical roadmaps, enabling hybrid cloud environments.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering technical solutions in a similar role

  • Experience in large architecture, standardisation, and transformation initiatives

  • Clear understanding of technical governance process and ability to engage with others.

  • Hands-on experience in Compute, Networking, and Security in various operating models (IaaS, PaaS).

  • Practical knowledge of public cloud services (Microsoft Azure preferred)

  • Azure solution architecture or relevant cloud platform certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Information Technology, or a related Engineering field
