Job Title: Survey Drafter
Job Description
The primary role of this position is CAD drafting of boundary, topographic, transmission line centerline right-of-way and land tie surveys. This position will be responsible for interpreting and writing 'metes and bounds' or 'centerline' descriptions for assigned projects. This position will support the survey field crews and office personnel by, but not limited to, researching existing survey and real estate records, contacting local and state agencies for right-of-way information, and transmitting completed projects.
Hard Skills
AutoCAD- Must have 1-5+ years of experience within AutoCAD
Drafter- Associates in Drafting/Design or relevant degree preferred
Survey- Experience in civil/survey drafting 1-5+ years is required
Civil 3D- Must have in school experience or 1-5+ years in Civil 3D knowledge
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Birmingham, Alabama and some days remote.
