Work you'll do:
As a domain expert on strategic acquisition topics related to federal contracts, you will guide and coordinate contractual aspects of pursuit strategy and proposal development through award for assigned opportunities. You will independently review complex contract actions, develop tactical action plans, and monitor your portfolio to identify risks and opportunities. Managing your workload will ensure timely project completion and accurate deliverables. Collaboration with support teams will address complex contracts administration and proposal challenges. You will track and communicate key issues, risks, and opportunities, and may negotiate complex contracts and agreements. Sharing lessons learned will facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and organization.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong consultative and communication skills
Command knowledge of Federal Contracting regulations
Ability to operate in a demanding executive-level environment
Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively collaboratively with teams
Expertise in supporting alternative acquisition approaches (OTA, CSOs, SBIR, STTR, etc.)
10+ years of relevant contract experience
Command knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Experience:
Extensive knowledge of the TechFAR
Proven ability to utilize emerging technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning) to enhance procurement processes
Advanced Degree or relevant Certificate
Strong track record of working effectively and collaboratively with teams
Direct supervisory experience managing a team of 3 or more
Experience in leveraging emerging technologies to drive business process improvements
NCMA certifications such as CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500-$188,900
