Civil/Structural Engineer for a company that provides Transmission and Distribution products and services for the electrical power industry. Our client is located near Birmingham, AL. We are seeking an energetic Civil-Structural Engineer who will be responsible for the design of transmission line/substation structures and foundations.

Required Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural is preferred)
Must have at least (3) years of civil/structure design experience
Experience in the design with STAAD or equivalent software
Preferred:
Registered PE License (or EIT with ability/desire to obtain PE)
Transmission structure and/or substation design experience
Experience using PLS-CADD / PLS-POLE software

Design of transmission line/substation structures and foundations
Required to interpret written client specifications and be able to assist in the preparation of Preliminary Designs and Proposals.
Responsible for carrying out project management from onset of the contract through the delivery of the product or completion of the project
Design of EHV, HV, and MV transmission structures using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software
