Job Title: Senior Parts & Service Consultant – Aftermarket

Salary: £60,000 - £74,000 (depending on experience)

Location : Peterborough / Birchwood

Benefits:

  • 25 days annual leave,

  • Up to 18% Bonus

  • Cash Car Allowance - £600pcm.

  • Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%

Job Summary

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Aftermarket Senior Parts & Service Consultant to join our Sales, Marketing, Servicing & Parts (SMSP) Aftermarket team. As the Aftermarket Senior Parts & Service Consultant, you will be responsible for ownership of a portfolio of aftermarket products where you will identify, evaluate and develop initiatives that drive sales growth objectives and profitability.

You will lead research of growth opportunities through projects and provide expertise in the development and implementation of marketing and growth strategies for the lifecycle of our products and services.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyzing company profile and its operations to develop and align the marketing strategies with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Conducting market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.

  • Establishing metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.

  • Maintaining effective internal communications in the marketing department to discuss and align the marketing strategy to the changing organizational scenarios.

  • Leading projects that support our organizational strategy.

What You Have:

Level Extensive Experience:

Strategic Thinking : Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Level Working Knowledge:

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Level Working Knowledge:

Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Level Working Knowledge:

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.

Level Working Knowledge:

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Gained skills through working within Business-to-Business Marketing with a product focus.

  • Technical leadership

  • Ability to drive actions through the organization.

  • Strong commercial acumen within a sales environment

  • Project Management or Six Sigma black belt experience

Additional Information:

Global Travel up to 25% is required.

We operate a hybrid working week consisting of three days in the office and two from home.
