Job Title: Senior Manager - Reliability AssuranceLocation: Orange, CT; Kirkwood, NY; Rochester, NY; Augusta, ME.Work type: OfficeThe salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $132,055 to $181,575.Job Summary Reliability Assurance is split into two groups - one group for the Operations & Planning (O&P) Standards and one group for the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards. The Senior Manager manages the implementation and administration of the Avangrid Networks NERC Reliability Assurance Program for one of the groups with objectives of timely and complete compliance with all applicable Program requirements. The Senior Manager will be responsible for cross-group initiatives and inter-related objectives and for providing high level recommendations impacting both groups to the Director Reliability Assurance and VP Reliability Assurance & Emergency Preparedness.Responsibilities1) Ensure that all elements of the NERC Reliability Assurance Program are completed to schedule. 2) Establish and monitor Program milestones. 3) Track overall compliance progress. 4) Identify and resolve Program issues. 5) Coordinate compliance teams as determined by Program requirements. 6) Hold regular Program meetings. 7) Document key decisions and progress toward compliance requirements. 8) Prepare regular updates on compliance progress for the Director's Reliability Assurance Committee and Executive management. 9) Provide preparation and coordination for all internal and external audits of NERC Standards compliance. 10) Provide supervision to NERC Reliability Assurance staff in designated group (O&P or CIP). 11) Represent Avangrid Networks as primary or alternate member on the NPCC Compliance Committee. 12) Represent Avangrid Networks as the primary or alternate Compliance Contact for NERC. 13) Interface with NERC and NPCC staff as needed. 14) Participate in industry work groups and committees associated with the NERC Standards (e.g., NATF, EEI). 15) Represent Avangrid Networks in ad hoc work groups with NERC compliance staff from other peer utilities.16) Responsible for Program deliverables. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 10 years relevant experience required.Experience working with regulations and regulatory agencies.Experience managing a project team or group of individual contributorsStrong project management skills.Good problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to understand and analyze FERC/NERC regulatory requirements.Good written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Skills/Abilities: It is preferred that for this job, the candidate fulfills the requirements in terms of levels indicated below.1.
