Core Responsibilities

You will be joining our Global Cost management team (GCM) anchored in Corporate Finance as people leader for our specialist team of 6. Our vision is to be Global experts in overhead management and through Centralized Overheads planning, Controlling & improved governance across the LEGO® Group!

With the big ambitions of the company, your area of impact continues to grow whilst you optimize, digitalize, and embrace technology. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for budgeting and controlling of overhead cost across all entities.

  • Be the main driver of identifying process gaps, implement new processes and improvements, and setting global planning principles and governance together with your colleagues.

  • Work closely with key partner organizations and business customers to increase collaboration, service level and scope.

  • Act as a key support of global productivity and ad hoc analysis and initiatives with impact across the Organization.

  • Build infrastructure to efficiently drive, handle and govern finance processes such as annual and in-year planning, controlling, and ERP Systems Improvements.

Play your part in our team succeeding

With great influence and responsibility, you will facilitate:

  • Standardization & efficiency of the financial planning processes and Overhead allocation across The LEGO Group in a new planning system to support our strategic objectives

  • Deliver analytics and insights to enable trade-off and optimization dialogues

  • Secure delivery of defined team key priorities e.g. within centralization, report excellence and improved process documentation.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A master level degree combined with relevant experience from a similar senior role within financial planning and analysis, preferable as FP&A or Finance Business partner in a global company

  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and experience working with multiple partners where you have established positive relationships through clear communication and good partnership

  • Experience as people leader is a plus, however not a must

  • Speaks and writes English fluently
