Job descriptionPart-Time Teacher's AideThis role can be either full-time or part-time and has the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.Location: Friendship House of Christian Services - Billings, MTSchedule: Monday - Friday 10 AM - 6 PM (Flexible)Pay: $14.00 to $15 per hour D.O.E.Expected Hours: 20 Per WeekAbout us:Friendship House of Christian Service is a faith-based community development agency dedicated to strengthening families and individuals in Billings’ South Side neighborhood. Since 1957, we have provided holistic family programming, including preschool, after-school programs, teen mentoring, life skills education, and counseling services.We are looking for a passionate and reliable Preschool Teacher's Aide to join our team! If you love working with children, creating a positive impact, and being part of a mission-driven organization, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for youth participants.Supervise and guide children through structured activities, transitions, and meals.Support the implementation of youth development programs and enrichment activities.Maintain cleanliness and organization in classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas.Ensure all program activities align with established guidelines, policies, and procedures.Help track and report program effectiveness and outcomes.Comply with all State Child Care licensing requirements and safety regulations.Be present and actively engaged during program hours.Perform other duties as assigned to support program success.What We're Looking For:Age Requirement: 16 years or olderEducation: High School diploma or equivalent.Experience: At least 1 year of childcare experience (required).Passionate about working with children and families in a community-focused setting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Why Join Us?Make a direct impact on children and families in a supportive, faith-based environment.Flexible scheduling options.Be part of a mission-driven team committed to holistic community development.
