The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Program Manager to support a government customer located in Bethesda, MD.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the daily operations of the contract.

  • Developing a Quality Control Plan to ensure services are performed in accordance with the contract.

  • Maintaining the staffing plan for pricing, contract line items (CLINS), labor categories (LCATs), and full-time equivalent (FTE) hours proposed for each LCAT.

  • Developing the program management plan that will require government approval.

  • Developing and submitting a contingency operations plan to the Government.

  • Providing operations support during emergency situations.

  • Using resources and tools available to continue essential DHA functions under emergency circumstances.

  • Providing program management support to the medical preparedness policy directorate.

  • Verify all licensed professionals have valid state licenses to practice.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Allied Health or Health sciences.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have 3+ years project management experience on federally funded projects.

  • Must have experience and comprehensive knowledge of Military Health System activities and DoD health related fields.

  • Must have experience in managing multiple activities of a group of management, organizational and business process improvement staff to execute the business plans, developing plans and projects, determining needs, investigating and resolving problems, interfacing with other functions and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, and managing staff.

  • Must have experience in directly supervising contractor employees.

  • Must have experience in interviewing, hiring, and training contractor employees.

  • Must have experience in addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff including higher up and lower level employees and government officials.

  • Some travel may be required.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be U.S. Citizen

  • Must pass a Tier II background check.
