Philips Senior FP&A Manager in Best, Netherlands

Your role:

  • Analyze and reports on business performance by means of: Monthly performance, AOP, product/market/customer/integral profitability, Quarterly Forecasting, RoFo, Strategic Review, cost control, Target Setting / Remuneration, Pricing/margin analysis, etc. Support preparation of budget and forecast of SPS operation cost and inventory.

  • Perform forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, Price/Volume mix, scenario analysis, etc.

  • Prepare, attend, minutes and keep track of follow ups regarding performance and strategy meetings.

  • Take initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of his/her relevant stakeholders.

  • Participate in various x-BG/Sector/Market Finance improvement projects. Understands systems and tools. Ensures quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.

  • Perform routine and ad hoc analysis on parts valuation. Support annual SPS parts uplift and transfer price assessment and update.

  • Prepare ICS control documentation related to cost and inventory, as assigned to FP&A function.

You are a part of:

Global Commercial CoE, overseeing a team of analysts in NL, LATAM and India. The team comprises 5 motivated, quick-thinking financial professionals who work very much as a team while virtually connected between the locations of the broader Finance organization of Philips. The purpose of the Center of Excellence is to generate high-quality reports/analyses in a dynamic, fast-moving environment close to the decision-making heart of the Company. This role will bring significant growth opportunities.

You’re the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Business Economics, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study.

  • 5 years or more of progressive working experience and roles in, e.g., Finance, FP&A, financial control, management reporting, and analysis, preferably within an international environment.

  • Experience with the Health systems industry.

  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred), and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with reporting & analytical tools, like advanced insights and digital, Business-Intelligence environments, SQL, PowerBi, etc.

  • Great communication skills, and proven track record of interacting with senior management.
