The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-level DevSecOps Engineer in Berkeley, MO, Colorado Springs, CO, Fairfax, VA, Mesa, AZ, El Segundo, CA or North Charleston, SC . In this role, you will be part of team that enables the Boeing Enterprise transformation of DevSecOps across our business units.
The candidate will perform enablement services for software engineers across the enterprise supporting the transition and on-boarding to the Boeing Software factory (cloud and other environments) and support developer workstation configurations. We operate as a fast-paced agile team. We seek candidates who have some experience in DevSecOps, Cloud environments, software development, test automation, and system automation. Job Responsibilities:
Provide support and services that enable software engineers to migrate to our BSF cloud environment
Perform in the entire software development life cycle of the DevOps tool chain
Collaborate with Product owner to define and breakdown work
Write Configuration as Code (using Salt) to optimize and accelerate development efforts
Provide Bazel support, including extending for various RTOS and languages
Use automation to enhance the user experience
Provide support to disconnected on-premises environments
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (post-Start).

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of experience with modern software development methodologies
1+ years of experience with Configuration as Code
Experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience using Gitlab/GitHub/Bitbucket for version control, Artifactory for deployment, and Containerization including Docker
Experience working with common industry development tools such as Java, JavaScript (Angular, React JS), Cloud(PCF), CI/CD, Automated Test Suites
Experience on Automation and CI/CD techniques and design patterns
Experience developing software using an Agile framework
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience working with and supporting systems with Linux Operating System (OS) and other RTOS
Working knowledge of the CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools.
Familiarity with Bazel
Strong communication skills and a self-starter that can thrive in a distributed remote work environment

Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level: 104,550 – 141,450
