Director, Technical Product Support

What does a successful Director of Technical Product Support do?

You will lead a team of Technical Support Specialists who play a meaningful role in supporting Fiserv’s Merchant Solutions gateway products, that include global platforms like Commerce Hub. Works closely with the team to serve clients, both internal channel partners and external clients. Guide the team to troubleshoot, configure, and resolve inquiries from clients regarding technical issues, processing environment, software applications, and system configurations.

What you will do:

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and team management activities.

  • Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback to employees, handling work allocations.

  • Serve as a key point of escalation for inquiries received from both external and internal customers regarding training, application queries and issues.

  • Engage and escalate to leaders in Product, Technology, Integrations and Operations as needed.

  • Communicates internally and externally to all levels of management and customers.

  • Provide client input to Product Managers, Business Analysts and Programmers, and leadership regarding product performance, features, and enhancements.

  • Develop and measure key metrics around team performance.

What you will need to have:

  • High School graduate/GED

  • 9 years of prior experience.

  • 5 years leading technical, client support, or business analysis teams.

  • Advanced knowledge of web architectures and API integrations.

What would be great to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Knowledge of the payments industry.

  • Experience in Payments, Merchant processing, or other Financial Services positions.

  • Exposure to financial services client system integrations, operations, or client support experience.

  • Exposure to Fiserv.
