Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Data Management; To define and proactively master data integration and the data architecture. Create, define instructions and guidelines to manage data, data sources and data hierarchies (for example, guidelines to access confidential associate data, access control, data protection, etc.). Lead the implementation of master data management solutions and managed metadata environments for business domains. Ensure end user satisfaction; downstream system data updates. Educates others on data management processes, practices, policies, and guidelines.

Finance & Accounting; To evaluate and appraise large and complex investments, capital expenditures and financing projects; provide build-buy-lease analysis for major expenditures. Advise on role and classification of quality costing, including prevention, appraisal and internal/external failure costs. Leverage managerial costing knowledge, models, and analytics to recommend cost reduction strategies/tactics as part of a long-term strategy. Resolve exceptional situations in the receivables process; calculate complex provisions; advise on debtor risk mitigation methods. Manage centralized, complex accounts payable processes; advise on implications of creditor profile on the business performance, as well as alternative processes related to payables. Simplify, improve and harmonize existing and complex processes and systems for account reconciliations and month-end closing. Review the accuracy and legitimacy of recorded financial transactions and related reports. Prepare complex financial statements, ensure integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial statements; discuss the need for and nature of appropriate disclosures. Analyze the impact of changing accounting standards on the financial statements. Design a system of financial ratios and other performance indicators appropriate for a specific financial situation. Reconcile financial statements prepared using various reporting standards (e.g., IFRS and U.S. GAAP).

Governance & Control; To monitor adherence and investigate deviations of processes with respect to internal controls and fraud framework and recommend mitigation measures. Explain the implication of deviation and highlight potential risks. Recommend appropriate process modification to address the risks. Research and interpret any new or changed applicable Federal and/or statutory guidelines, incorporating findings into appropriate internal controls. Implement action plans based on evaluation outcomes and recommended mitigation measures. Support business in implementing changes in processes and policies.

Managing Functional Partnerships; To create an environment that supports collaboration with people from different functions, cultures and have different perspectives. Build and maintain collaborative and strategic alliances with a wide range of partners across the business and industry; leverage their support to drive business programs & priorities. Provide insights on the impact of cross functional team collaboration on achieving strategic goals. Drive a culture that strives for diversity of thought and inclusion. Coach and support colleagues and stakeholders to develop their understanding of business and performance to identify solutions to deliver improved services, solutions and relationships.

Operational Excellence; To lead evaluations of organization's operating functions versus those of the industry. Coach others to consider all major operational functions and cross functional issues. Educate others in operational strategies and the support needed for them. Monitor on the SOPs and guidelines followed to resolve cases ; Lead process improvement measures and suggests timely modifications to the guidelines. Coach on best practices to optimize on SLAs ensuring accountability for all metrics/measures related to volume, quality, accuracy, turn around, customer satisfaction etc. (for example, conceptualize to consider priority of cases to auto assign instead to manual efforts). Lead discussions on the evolution and impact of technology, present and future. Monitor industry trends, key players, and major competitors; develops strategies accordingly.

Monitor and predict industry regulation changes and makes corresponding action plans. Design strategies to minimize process breakdowns/problems and risks within the organization.

Project Management; To monitor and review major projects for critical path and actual status versus planned, process & value gaps, mitigation strategies, financial goals and communication plans. Oversee development of project management methodologies, toolkits, and practices. Monitor industry for fresh approaches, benchmarking industry best practices and adjust approach in response to changing business needs. Establish decision framework, ensure role definition and clarity of deliverables and drive process management consistency. Oversee conversations with business stakeholders and leadership on setting expectations, project updates, and delivering the end results.

Service Excellence; To promote the use of superior service in diverse environments across businesses/functional areas, define service levels, value streams and expectations in partnership with different stakeholders. Develop and manage initiatives for creating an environment that values customer service. Design strategies to inspire peers to raise the bar of customer service delivery. Establish best practices for service excellence, monitor industry for trends in enhancing customer service, with special attention to shared services. Coach others in identifying and implementing service improvement initiatives.

Understanding Business Context; To demonstrate deep expertise and functioning of multiple businesses globally, future ways of working, and evolution of operating model and translate for the business how it applies to current and future strategies. Contribute and influence the business strategy and business stakeholder decision making. Evaluate and validate proposed business cases for projects and initiatives. Approve strategies, initiatives, and projects. Determine metrics and performance indicators. Model and influence industry best practices internally and externally; lead others to embed in enterprise ways of working and processes using the insights generated through the data and benchmarking. Interpret new legislation and evaluate its implications for the organization, and/or advise on application of existing legislation to new situations.

Develop and implement financial concepts, techniques and performance tracking. Provide guidance to others in developing financial tracking to make strategic improvements. Evaluate an organization's strategic risk. Communicates the organization level impacts to diverse audiences. Design and execute analytical methods to guide strategic planning and identify factors affecting performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
