Position Summary...
We are seeking a dynamic leader to champion the voice of the customer across our ETS/H/H and Fashion businesses. This role involves analyzing business objectives and customer needs, overseeing the development and implementation of business strategies, and ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include advocating for customers by aligning business objectives with their needs, developing and implementing strategic plans, evaluating processes and outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Additionally, this role focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining a skilled and engaged workforce through recruitment, mentorship, and succession planning. It also involves fostering a culture of integrity and ethics, ensuring compliance with company standards, and building and leveraging internal and external partnerships to achieve business goals and lead community outreach initiatives.

What you'll do...
Business Partnership : Acts as a subject matter expert to senior functional leadership across ETS/H/H and Fashion; articulates the needs of current and future customers to executive leadership. Reviews and influences business strategies and integrates customer strategies to achieve business objectives. Consults with executive leadership to identify and answer critical questions about customers to drive business decisions.
Collaboration : Partners with functional leadership and other cross-functional leaders across the organization (e.g., Customer Experience, Merchandising) to develop consultative solutions for complex and/or large projects, ensure buy-in for recommendations as necessary and ensure alignment on data analysis and research strategies. Proactively maintains existing relationships and develops new relationships with external business partners and vendors.
People Development : Builds and leads a team to execute on ETS/H/H and Fashion objectives. Ensures associates are receiving learning and development opportunities (e.g., training, mentoring) for the good of the associate and Walmart. Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Conducts performance and career development conversations. Mentors less experienced associates and managers.
Problem Solving Approach and Data Identification : Leverages industry, business and functional knowledge to advise business on most appropriate problem statement structuring. Reviews and communicates identified business problem statements to senior leadership, and gains buy-in for research methodology and overall approach. Identifies appropriate resources for research and analysis (e.g., third-party vs. internal research) for complex and/or advanced analytical and research projects based on problem solving approach and methodology. Frames data collection strategy for large projects and provides strategic guidance on the development of data collection tools, platforms and approaches.
Insights Identification : Provides consultative opinions and expertise to senior and executive leadership based on review and oversight of research and analysis findings. Ensures development of impactful, meaningful insights and analysis to meet business needs/goals through research and analysis conducted. Leads review process with third-party vendors; and ensures quality and standard of work output.
Research Capability Development : Contributes to improvement of existing research and data analytics approaches and development of new approaches for data management and analysis by understanding and adapting industry trends. Enforces standards and processes for data sharing, model development, and reporting with internal teams (e.g., Advanced Analytics) and third parties.
Champions the voice of the customer across ETS/H/H and Fashion businesses by analyzing business objectives along with customer wants and needs. Oversees end to end support in developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years' experience in marketing research, data analytics, consulting, or related field OR 7 years' experience in marketing research, data analytics, consulting, or related field.
