An Enterprise Data Steward at Arvest is responsible for the establishment and implementation of an Enterprise Data Governance framework across the primary focus areas of metadata management, data cataloging and lineage, data classification, data quality, stewardship, policies, and procedures. They work effectively with a variety of cross-functional senior partners, the Data Governance Committee, Working Groups, business and technical data stewards, technology, and other data streams to monitor and assess adherence to data management and governance procedures, focusing on the importance of good quality data to drive business decisions. By working with the stakeholders within each business area (Business SMEs and Data Stewards/Analysts), the Enterprise Data Steward will ensure data definitions, data taxonomies, and business rules are written, approved, implemented, and maintained in appropriate DG tools.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
? Work with business and technical data stewards and other related teams to execute an enterprise-wide data governance, control, and compliance policy.
? Create and manage core metadata by working with business streams to document data dictionaries, relationships, mappings, and data lineage as set forth in standards with a broad Enterprise view.
? Assist in the implementation of data management tools and training for related tools (e.g., Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud).
? Create or support the creation of data and system flow documentation and process maps. Work to align other key data capabilities including metadata repositories, data dictionaries, data lineage, Business Process Maps and training materials with the data and system process flows.
? Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional complex data problems within/across programs and with senior leaders and data owners.
? Drive resolution of source, definition, naming, and business rule conflicts among consuming applications and user communities.
? Troubleshoot Data Governance-related problems (e.g., data definition conflicts, business rules conflicts, changes in quality metrics, etc.), gain approval, and escalate, if necessary.
? Monitor, measure, and report on data quality, support root cause analysis, identify issues and trends, oversee remediation plans, implement data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies with key stakeholders.
? Assist in the development, alignment to, and implementation of conceptual data models (e.g., BIAN Data Model, FIBO, etc.).
? Define and improve processes for managing data along its lifecycle; operationalize data management and governance activities. Focus on sourcing and quality of critical data as well as identification and protection of sensitive data.
? Develop and deliver data governance training to data stewards and other stakeholders, as needed.
? Measure the Arvest data maturity progress through metrics reporting.
? Translate business requirements to data requirements via data analysis, source to target mappings and profiling.
? Support the design and implementation of relevant policies and processes to align the Data Helpdesks delivery of services to the organizations data management and governance standards; serve as an initial point of contact for Data Helpdesk inquiries.
? Lead and support enterprise data literacy education and related activities across the organization.
? Support compliance and measurement activities to ensure the Data Marketplace is continuously operating in conformance to established Data Marketplace data governance standards and the broa er organizations data governance standards.
? Communicate with Data Owners, the Data Governance Committee, and other stakeholders on data quality measurements and plans.
? Continuously identify or support opportunities to streamline and simplify the execution of Data Transformation initiatives and data capabilities.
? Ensure that foundational building blocks are in place for the build out of Customer 360, Single Source of Truth, and Domain Data Management
? Enable faster innovation by leading efforts from a DG perspective for leveraging partnerships, ecosystems and supporting technologies such as Reltio, D&B, Collibra DIC, Collibra DQ, GCP, and BigQuery.
? Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
