This position is required to be on-site at our Beson, North Carolina, location.
Responsibilities
Identify and analyze safety hazards and risks with regard to process safety and machine guarding.
Familiarize yourself with organizations and industry best practice tools to analyze risks.
Complete risk assessments that include physical, process, and ergonomic hazards
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for facility operations and processes.
Analyze the findings and create a facility master scorecard.
Implement procedures to mitigate risk following risk assessments.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in safety, EHS, or industrial engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
