Description Customer Service Representatives will be interested in OfficeTeam's new position if they love building solid customer relationships and want to work in the growing Motor Freight Forwarder industry. This Customer Service Representative position is an excellent career opportunity for an articulate, highly-skilled candidate. This Customer Service Representative position is based in the Bensenville, Illinois region and is a long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity. Candidates looking to work in a dynamic, rapidly-changing call center will be interested in this position.

How you will make an impact

  • Be a part of business development by by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Handle incoming telephone calls

  • Provide accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • Retrieve and oversee the sending of written business communications Requirements - Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Proven computer skills

  • Microsoft Office knowledge required

  • Customer service and office administrative skills

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • 2+ years' experience of proven performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment desired

  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

  • Customer service experience desired

  • Proven knowledge of Receptionist Duties

  • Strong familiarity with data entry

  • Administrative Assistance experience highly desired

  • Retail experience preferred

  • Multi Task experience preferred

  • Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanour applied to all tasks

  • Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
