Google Staff Software Engineer, Google Distributed Cloud Hosted in Bengaluru, India
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructure (GCP).
Experience contributing to open source projects or working with an open source community.
Knowledge of building large systems.
Ability to navigate open-ended technical challenges, and make proper trade-offs.

Build a scalable and robust platform that supports key business deliverables for Google Distributed Cloud Hosted (GDCH). Work closely with a variety of GDCH teams, Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) teams, and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of GDCH software stack.
Design and implement key components to meet product requirements. Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
Evaluate various internal and external solutions, make recommendations on building custom solutions versus integration, and execute efficiently according to Product schedules. Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
