Senior Principal Software Engineer

What you’ll achieve
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in AI/ML, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), and DevSecOps, you will play a critical role in driving innovation, efficiency, and reliability within our organization on these domains
You will:
Participate in Building and Executing Infra, DevSecOps roadmap and Implement operational excellence practices to ensure reliability and security, and ability to dive in and debug live production systems, performance bottlenecks, spotting anomalous system behaviour, and resolving root cause of incidents.
Employ infrastructure as code paradigm to increase automation, scalability, and reliability be active at a technical level, participating in design and code reviews and taking a hands-on role for strategically important technical initiatives.
Optimize resource utilization and efficiency in VMware environments by right-sizing virtual machines, optimizing configurations, and implementing resource pooling and overcommitment strategies. You will analyze resource usage patterns, identify optimization opportunities, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize ROI and minimize waste.
Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for VMware environments using features such as VMware vSphere HA, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and VMware vSAN. You will ensure business continuity and data protection by implementing resilient and automated failover and recovery mechanisms
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across AI/ML, SRE, and DevSecOps teams. You'll mentor and coach team members, promote knowledge sharing, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive collective success and growth along with Strategic Alignment of AI/ML, SRE, and DevSecOps initiatives with organizational goals and priorities. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, define technical roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum value and impact.

Essential Requirements
13+ years of experience in Software Development with minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect using Python/Golang with Ruby and shell scripting\
Experience with AI/ML Frameworks: Hands-on experience with popular AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is essential for AI/ML roles. Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation is also required along with Candidates should be proficient in deploying and managing AI/ML models, infrastructure, and services in cloud environments
Strong experience on Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Containers, Kubernetes, and Terraform and possess Cloud Certifications - eg: AWS, Azure Professional Certifications, CKAD, etc
Experience on VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vRealize Suite. Storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, and Software-Defined Storage (SDS).
Knowledge on Security concepts eg: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Secure coding practices, OWASP, Secrets management, and Vulnerability remediation along with Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Desirable Requirements
Convey resolutions to audiences with varying degrees of technical/business proficiency and bring them to consensus.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments and design solutions for handling current and future growth.
