Google Product Manager, Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in product management.

  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Experience years managing enterprise platform products (e.g., compute, storage, networking), either cloud platforms or on-premises hardware.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Kubernetes.

  • Experience creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch, driving the product vision, defining the GTM strategy, and leading design discussions.

  • Experience operating in a hyper-growth/entrepreneurial environment and scaling new/emerging products from the ground-up.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a GDC connected servers product manager, you will own definition and delivery of new products and form factors, partnering with our engineering team in Bangalore. You will leverage your background in new product introduction in enterprise to own the entire lifecycle of your product, from product definition, pricing and business definition, launch, and growth.

  • Work closely with target customers in retail, manufacturing, and other sectors worldwide to understand their pain points, requirements, and places where Google Cloud can add the most value.

  • Convey customer requirements into internal engineering and business-facing documents, including PRDs, User Guides, and PRFAQs for net-new hardware platforms.

  • Work with cross-functional team of engineers, program managers, and others to build the product.

  • Lead a cross-functional team of marketing, finance, and legal to introduce the product to the market.

  • Partner with business development and go-to-market teams to build product growth strategies.
