Job Description
Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.
Financial reporting - Routine & Ad-hoc on Revenue, Bookings and Renewals Analytics, Expense, Headcount & KPIs, Management packs - Preparation, analysis
Ad-hoc Financial analysis
Handling queries on reports delivered
Process simplification, standardization :- Standardization of existing reports across various regions/user groups, Development of new reports based on business requirements & presenting and obtaining agreement from end users for rollout.
Documentation & training of other team members on new reports.
Finance business partner support :- Budget & Forecast support ; handling queries
Process automation: Handling financial reporting tools - Interaction business users to define UR, doing Testing, data upload & download, validation, Data cleansing/scrubbing, User Manual Documentation & training of global users etc., Coding uses VB Macros in MS Excel.
Operational improvement :- Identification & Implementation of operational improvement ideas contributing to finance & business

Responsibilities
As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.
