Role Summary

The Payroll Analyst designs and implements innovative solutions for HR and payroll teams, leveraging technical expertise in Excel, VBA, Office Scripts, Power Apps and Power Automate to automate processes and integrate systems. He also coordinates the technical aspects of payroll projects, optimizes workflows, and serves as the primary contact for system updates impacting payroll.

Your Role

  • Developing innovative solutions for HR and payroll teams to improve efficiency and automate processes.

  • Utilize technical knowledge (Excel, VBA, Office Scripts, Power Apps, Power Automate) to design and implement tools and automations.

  • Manage system integrations between payroll systems and other departments (HRIS, IT, Finance, Accounting).

  • Coordinate technical aspects of payroll projects, including benefit vendor changes and pension and stock plan updates.

  • Work with stakeholders to optimize processes and implement system enhancements impacting payroll.

Your Profile

  • A degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience in process automation and building technical solutions (VBA, Office Scripts, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.

  • Proven ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of automation projects, from planning to solution delivery

  • Project management skills or experience working on cross-functional projects is an advantage

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an open mindset
