Google Internal Compliance and Assurance Manager in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience with customer support, operations management, SOX controls, or acting as a financial auditor.

  • 3 years of experience managing direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience onboarding, managing, and continuously improving vendors.

  • Experience working in Enterprise sales or Cloud computing.

  • Familiarity with corporate governance rules, risk management content or central tracking and monitoring of controls.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

In this role, you will work with a dedicated team of Googlers and vendor partners to coordinate and deliver day-to-day activities for our internal assurance and contracting operations procedures. You will work to help our customer-facing teams close critical agreements whilst observing our policies, while ensuring the controls we rely upon for financial reporting are operating as intended.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

  • Act as on-site manager of all Internal Compliance and Assurance activities, leading a team of both internal and external partners to deliver work products.

  • Identify risks and controls within the Google Cloud segment and periodically test their design and effectiveness, delivering regular reporting to company officers.

  • Manage and ensure delivery of periodic program activities, including risk assessments, narrative refresh, and control attestations and walk throughs.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for day-to-day contracting operations, including policy queries, contract execution delays, and non-standard signature requests.
