Google Engineering Manager, Search and Discovery, Android in Bengaluru, India
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in engineering and technical leadership with people management.
Experience in Android.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with large-scale web servers and client systems (e.g., serving backends, Android etc.).
Experience with distributed systems, full stack design, storage, micro services, and browser client side rendering.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

Work closely with leaders on the discovery and search teams in Bangalore and globally to refine the definition of the team’s mission, set objectives, lead team's delivery and visibility.
Lead a large-scale, critical infrastructure to support the organization's goal.
Measure, build tools and optimize the performance.
Enable different client engineering teams to help extend the platform.
