The Engineering Tools and Platforms teams own and deliver the full suite of SDLC tools to enable modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

The role is part of the team that own the engagement with engineering teams – from consultancy to on-boarding activities – and the template, modular CI/CD pipelines offered as standard to thousands of developers and engineers. This team leads on customer success – maximising the benefit to BT Group through effective use of common tools, and a well curated set of templates, patterns and best-practice.

What you’ll be doing

You will be accountable for:

Positive colleague satisfaction through the enablement and on-boarding process.

Helping the team to define and continuously improve the on-boarding and enablement process, working with your peers and product owner.

Input into a set of best-practice, industry leading re-useable patterns for end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the wider team and other stakeholders.

Maintaining a “secure by default” mindset in the platform for its users.

Successfully delivering complex and/or bespoke solutions, leading across multiple delivery teams in Architecture, as part of enabling more complex teams’ requirements.

Working with partners – operationally and commercially – as part of wider partner frameworks within the team.

Experience

3+ years software engineering using CI/CD practices.

7+ years total IT/software engineering experience.
