Amazon India is seeking world class DevOps Engineers for their Platform Development team located in Bangalore. The ideal candidate is expected to provide quality first-tier systems and event management for the global technical operations of various customer facing systems. He/she will have experience working in a busy online operations environment and have previously participated in operational support for at least one large-scale enterprise environment. A strong knowledge of the Linux operating system is required in addition to a passion for working with new technologies and pushing the envelope on existing technologies, particularly open source technologies. Amazon DevOps Engineer are expected to build or enhance their own tools, develop and operate best practices, and always think and act proactively and innovatively. Key job responsibilities
Perform SOP driven activities supporting Seller Flex product meeting the defined SLAs & Page-0 goals
Work on automating the existing SOPs
Onboard to newer SOPs given by Tech Team for different initiatives & execute them
Own execution of the release MCMs
About the team
Seller Flex (SF) is an India-first invention that provides FBA-like inputs to customers on Fast Track Buy Box (FTBB) and Prime badging while operating out of Seller-controlled premises. Over the last 7 years (Since 2015), we have launched over 18K sellers (with> 85% Active currently) offering 15.2MM Prime Enabled selection while consistently delivering on-time shipping performance >99.95%. SF allows us to get reliable real time inventory visibility and enables SPs to follow a managed order processing workflow leading to a high level of performance reliability (LSR & CR < 0.05%, FC standards). Over the past few years, we have accelerated the growth of SF Fulfillment channel through product features and processes which have helped us achieve a performance threshold at par with FC consistently. As WW owners of SF, we focus on developing tools that help us scale with standardization and build factoring WW extendibility. We have leveraged the SF platform to tap new opportunities like MSF for Seller Clusters enabling small sellers from Tier-2/3 cities, 200+ Vendor Flex nodes enabling 16K retail selection, H&B and multi-piece shipment (MPS) with fulfillment option for scheduled delivery across 8K+ pin codes in India.

Basic Qualifications
1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Experience scripting in modern program languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience to work on SOP driven work
- Previous understanding of MCM process at Amazon
