Google Cloud Solutions Architect in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting, and 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in all aspects of cloud computing (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data), as well as cloud market and competitive dynamics.

  • Experience in the business technology market and expertise in working closely with sales and marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields.

  • Knowledge of the current infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.

  • Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience.

  • Ability to mix deep technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable and useful.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work with customers and other customer-facing roles to help design and optimize customers' use of Google Cloud to address their business problems. We scale our knowledge and learnings from working on customer problems by creating solutions, blueprints, and public strengths. In this role, you will work with customer employees from different disciplines and functional roles, and help decision-makers understand and choose the benefits of Google Cloud for their business to help drive growth and success. Your collaboration with other customer-facing roles within Google Cloud will help the various teams within customer organizations understand how to implement solutions running on Google Cloud.

  • Provide expertise and leadership regarding Solutions Architecture in the infrastructure and applications space.

  • Define the business case for solutions. Assist in the design of solutions in order to help with prototyping and development, and take solutions through to launch.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple channels and become a trusted advisor to decision makers. Write and publish reference architectures, technical articles, and create reference implementations (e.g. open source code) to scale technical best practices globally.

  • Provide customer and market feedback to the product and engineering teams, and influence product direction.

  • Attend various meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
