Technical Responsibilities

  • As a Software Engineer III, you will lead manual testing efforts, contribute to test strategy, and plan automation projects to ensure the quality and efficiency of software products.

  • You will drive nonfunctional testing efficiency by utilizing components and simulation tools, ensuring the reliability and performance of the software.

  • Leading complex defect investigations and mentoring junior engineers will be part of your responsibilities, emphasizing defect prevention and continuous improvement.

  • Providing mentoring support, establishing onboarding best practices, and assisting in recruitment activities to build a strong engineering team.

  • Troubleshooting networking issues using your expertise in TCP/IP, ensuring seamless communication and connectivity.

  • Applying your expert-level skills in Linux OS for debugging and automation purposes to enhance software development processes.

  • Staying updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to drive continuous learning and improvement within the team.

  • Leading security initiatives, ensuring the security of systems, and managing test data protection to safeguard sensitive information.

  • Architecting scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions, leveraging Kubernetes and virtualization knowledge to optimize performance and scalability.

  • Leading UX design efforts and collaborating on Agile and DevOps improvements to enhance the user experience and development processes.

  • Designing scalable systems using advanced algorithms, optimizing performance, and guiding the team in implementing best practices for software development.

  • Communication & Collaboration: You will lead communication efforts between the engineering team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective information exchange to support project success.

  • Performance Review & Career Management: Support in managing performance reviews and career development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.

  • Technical Skillset Alignment: Utilize industry trends to guide improvements in the team's technical skillset, engage in collaborative efforts with external teams, and participate in technical conferences.

  • Backlog Ownership: Contribute to the team's backlog by suggesting enhancements to features and addressing technical debt to improve overall project efficiency.

  • Technical Supervision: Provide technical supervision and guidance to the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills

  • With over 10 years of proven experience in software development, focusing on embedded systems, you will bring a wealth of knowledge to the engineering team.

  • Your strong experience in developing efficient and feature-rich embedded applications for diverse devices will be instrumental in driving product innovation.

  • Utilize your advanced proficiency in Linux OS and deep understanding of TCP/IP networking to enhance the performance and reliability of software solutions.

  • Leverage your expertise in cloud-native solutions, Kubernetes, and virtualization to architect scalable and resilient software systems.

  • Apply your strong background in data analytics to create synthetic data and ensure data protection measures are in place to safeguard sensitive information.

  • Demonstrate your experience in implementing DevSecOps practices to ensure secure coding and robust system architectures.

  • Utilize your excellent core programming skills to design scalable systems, optimize performance, and manage concurrency for efficient software solutions.

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, showcasing your academic background and foundational knowledge in the field.
