Amazon Supply Chain Manager, Sub Same Day Supply Chain in Bellevue, Washington

Sub Same Day is the team the powers ultrafast fulfillment and delivery, and are in the midst of building the next big thing. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager with a planning background where you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing various facets of our operations, and ultimately building the Amazon Store physical network of the future. We have exciting opportunities in different focus areas, each seeking a skilled professional to lead strategic initiates, drive process improvements, and ensure the network supports the long-term objectives of the business.
As a Strategic Supply Chain Manager you'll take end-to-end ownership of physical store network design and capacity planning, building design, logistics optimization and analysis of operational efficiency. In this role, you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, Finance, Design and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to optimize expansion plans, drive efficient utilization of assets, and ensure building designs meet business objectives in the long-term horizon. As a member of this team, you will be a thought leader and will work cross functionally to design the Amazon fulfillment network of the future. You will be expected to deal with ambiguity, drive insights, and leverage strong problem-solving skills to lead critical business decisions. You will help craft new fulfillment concepts to integrate into our network to improve the overall customer experience, drive sales growth, and reduce the total cost of fulfillment. Whether you're managing network capacity initiatives, overseeing cross-functional programs, or focusing on strategic projects, your impact will be visible, ongoing, and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead strategic initiatives related to Amazon physical store network design and building throughput
• Develop long term plans that incorporate business strategies, fulfillment capacity and operational initiatives
• Balance supply and demand, assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, or logistics operations.
• Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network capacity situations.
• Work through ambiguity, develop business strategies with reasonable assumptions, and validate and modify assumptions along a project roadmap
• Manage large data sources and deep dive data to drive critical business decisions
• Collaborate with other teams to drive building design, capacity and topology models to execution
• Manage execution path of projects, evaluate risks and propose alternative paths if applicable
• Coordinate with field partners and other execution teams to continuously improve quality and customer experience
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
2+ years of supply chain experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
